thanks. i might get a cage and some race seats down the road a bit. i got it for 3,700 and 100 for gas in my truck. he had a ton of $$ in this thing. with out the car, labor and paint he has over 10,000 in this car. and thats with no motor and trany.
That thing would look killer with some Bogarts $$$$$$
i have been looking at alot or rim combos and for the street i think i want some 18x10 saleen clones with drag radeils but i am worried they will rub when the car squats. any one know what size tire is safe to fit back there?
well, it was his personal car, so i bet he did do it all right. i was only saying to look out for thing he may have told you he did, but didn't. he stole a shitload of money from my father and did the same to a bunch of other guys. his work has always been very good, but he's just a crook. he's actually very local to me, being only 10 minutes and one town over.
well i think he did burn me on the msd box. it was in the ad and when i got it home it was not in the car. but there was a spot for it to be mounted and the wires that go to it looked like they where once hooked up then cut?
yea, keep your eyes open and go through it to make sure everything he said is there. i wouldn't be surprised if there's a bunch more missing. just looking out for you, bud.
well it has been a year. i wish i could post up some pics of the car all done, but it look the same as when i got it. i did start ordering parts last week tho. i got a stick shift boot and the pedals. i need a fuel pump (a1000?)
what else do i need? i am striping my 1986 for all the parts that i can. will i need a different radiator, drive shaft, ?????? thanks
i am ready to order the street rims right now what do you think of 18 x 9/10 in back saleen clones with 245-40 and 275-35 in the back?
Some guys already beat me to it. Chris @ CD Performance is one of the first real big mustang shop scumbag. The others are already out of business. I'd make sure the car is legit. Chris probably bought the stuff legit, but I'm sure he ripped off someone to pay for it. Chris is well known to be a hack too so watch the work he did and make sure its done properly. One thing about Chris is when its his own cars he does make a killer car.
If you start having it vandalized though make sure you let people know Chris doesn't own it anymore.
man I can't believe I would see this car again... I live in fall river and I herd allot of stories about that car when it was sold. Chris is good with his shit when it's on his own car but make sure you go through that whole car bro. I have known Chris for years and I was a very good friend of his and he screwed 3 of my own friends over 10K they got some of the money back but still lost out. Just make sure you never go there again for parts or work done cuz it will never be done or you will never see your parts. well I hope you have good luck with the car bro

Some of my friends have had the exact same experiences. Chris is only worth going to if you are paying cash in full and he has the part in stock. You might get the work done if you wait for it, but make sure you watch him. There are better mustang shops around if you needed something done.
Nice ride! I LOVE that color!!! CHROME 18" saleens would look killer on that thing! 245s front and 275s rear will fit perfect! A buddy of mine has a saleen (99-04) with 265 front and 285 rear with no problems.

hey for a auto im going lentech AOD the best handles power and u can have streetability so i reccommend them http://www.lentechautomatics.com/aodhome.html
both of those trannys are nasty but more for drag racing like the c4 u can go around but u cant really cruz around ya know....and powerglide there too much drag for the street both are good deals
If all you are doing is a 347 n/a motor then an AOD is fine for that setup. Even with an S or a T trim you will be ok with a properly built AOD. Just keep it out of o/d when you don't need it. The older Ford autos don't like shifting in and out of o/d. A 347 will work fine with a tremec too.
At least you are almost ready to go with it. It will be a sharp looking car when you are done with it. I'm glad Chris had to sell it because he is a thief and a scammer. Hopefully you can do something good with it. The 94+ cars are so much nicer than fox bodies in terms of chassis, interior, steering, etc.
