It sucks but that's the law...whatever is used in an illegal activity, they can confiscate.

I got busted "distributing" a while back and they took my cell and pager along with all my cash, even though most of it was from a paycheck I had just cashed. They would have taken the car if it was mine. They still could of since the driver was an "accomplice".

Talk about a bad day.

honestly i think thats stupid. if im cruisin around in north carolina and find a f-body to beat up on im gonna go for it. and if i see blue lights im gonna run if i know they will take the car from me. at that point ya aint got much to lose.
