i just took this meguiars window cleaner and did it a couple times to make sure all the dirt and everything is completely gone then spray each coat very very lightly and do each coat 5-10 minutes apart then once you get the darkness you want then take some clear coat from autozone or w.e and spray a couple coats and let them dry for couple hours then put them back on. but they reccoment for vht at least the temp is between 50-70 outside or something like that

I tinted my tails on a different car this winter and they came out fine. They recommend not to put more than like 3 coats on I think on each light. I ended up using closer to 20 on each light lol. It is extremely transparent, but at night or when you got the brake on the tails really shine through just fine.

VHT NIGHTSHADES OR RC MODEL TINT, RUBBING ALCOHOL OR ANY CLEANER THAT WILL GET ALL THE DIRT AND DUST OFF THE LIGHTS. YOU CAN GET IT A HOBBYSHOP OR AN AUTOMOITVE PLACE

Yep. To prep clean with alcohol and then use a fine grit sandpaper and sand down the lights a bit to help it stick better.

yeh and it will be a more black tint than a grey which IMO looks alot better on my car....now could you do the same thing for the headlights or no?

If I was going to tint headlights I would just buy the headlight covers that snap on for like $40-$50. I wouldn't use the same product to tint the heads If I were you, since the Niteshades has I believe like a basecoat of red in it to help the tails shine through it might look kinda funny.
