smoke them yourself i did and it came out perfect. i used vht nightshade and clearcoat just gotta make sure you prep them enough before you do it and it will come out mint
well i have clear ones on it now...not not spic euros...clear lol...but theyre junk and i dont know if i have any stock lx lights layin around...what do you do...sand em then paint them or w/e?
i just took this meguiars window cleaner and did it a couple times to make sure all the dirt and everything is completely gone then spray each coat very very lightly and do each coat 5-10 minutes apart then once you get the darkness you want then take some clear coat from autozone or w.e and spray a couple coats and let them dry for couple hours then put them back on. but they reccoment for vht at least the temp is between 50-70 outside or something like that
I tinted my tails on a different car this winter and they came out fine. They recommend not to put more than like 3 coats on I think on each light. I ended up using closer to 20 on each light lol. It is extremely transparent, but at night or when you got the brake on the tails really shine through just fine.
ok cuz i have the red LED's in there too...where can i buy the stuff to tint them? and how do i prep the tail lights
VHT NIGHTSHADES OR RC MODEL TINT, RUBBING ALCOHOL OR ANY CLEANER THAT WILL GET ALL THE DIRT AND DUST OFF THE LIGHTS. YOU CAN GET IT A HOBBYSHOP OR AN AUTOMOITVE PLACE
If I was going to tint headlights I would just buy the headlight covers that snap on for like $40-$50. I wouldn't use the same product to tint the heads If I were you, since the Niteshades has I believe like a basecoat of red in it to help the tails shine through it might look kinda funny.
