It's that time of the month again....er...um... for nominating Febuary Ride of the Month.

Let the nomiations begin...please refer to Rules thread for any questions......No drama please..

YOU CAN NOT NOMINATE YOUR SELF....................

Nominations will run till mid month, then a Poll will be put up for everyone to vote on their favorite.

Information on the car...mods,pics,video's etc. is mandatory. Most people don't know other peoples junk.

Voting should be based on all aspects of car including appearance, suspension, driveline, interior etc.

Participation in meets ,track days , & forum should be a consideration as well. We want a car/owner that represents what Bostonstangs is all about.

Alright. If he cannot be nominated, then strike my vote from the records and count it to Retro 5.0. His car has the looks and the power to be a killer ride.

Here he is with his old 306 motor, popping the wheels to a 12.50 @ 109.



Here he is with his new motor, beating a race car with open headers. This run was an 11.7 @ 117.

As for mods...I'll list the basics, there are a ton of supporting mods which will not be listed.

306 with heads, cam, intake, 150 shot (major mods)
Roll cage
Full suspension
31 spline rear with 3.73's
Full tubular front end

List goes on and on, as for suture plans, I am fixing a bunch of paint issues and doing a full Cobra conversion. I have the grille, spoiler, emblems fender extensions, etc...all sitting in a box ready to go on. I also intend on getting rid of the juice and bolting on a blower.

i nominate Retro! best looking 85 mustang in the world hands down!!!
my 88 is a 4 cylinder conversion car that i did the full 5.0 swap on & then did the full 1988 Saleen mustang conversion on it with all original 1988 Saleen mustang parts including body, interior, brakes, suspension, wheels etc.... i persoannly built this car with my own 2 hands! every nut, bolt & part & it was been 10 years in the making.

Well heres my cars story:
I baught her bone stock from the original owner with 60K on the clock. Ive only had the car about a year and 1/2 but i have a decent amount of work into it. I have a brand new superstreeter transmission, frpp 4.30 gears, tfs1 cam, 1.72 roller rockers, edelbrock timing chain, hollley sniper nitrous kit, equal legnth headers, true duals w. super 40s, ford racing springs, pro dampers, new track-lock and a brand new ppg paint job[ done by rick biggrin.gif ]. I know its nothing compared to most of the guys on here, but its a work in progress =)

Thanks Jeff and Pete for the votes. A lot of the guys here have a better car than mine far as motor goes, but I'll get there some day. I really appreciate the nominations.

I think a certain Ttop Capri should be voted for ROTM.biggrin.gif Your car has come such a long way from the day that we picked it up. It will be nice that you'll be able to have it the whole season with it looking great.
