I have a competiton engineering kit. I dont really know if its worth the money cause i dont remember exactly how much it cost but ive had no problems with it in the 2 years ive had it.
my maroon car had a maximum motorsports kit....i didnt put it on there or buy it came with the car, but u definalty notice a big differnce when u hit a pot hole or decent bump...i guess if ur worried about it then ya its worth it..i wouldnt buy one just cuz im cheap haha

To answer your question=If you have bump steer then you need something to correct it. If you don't have you don't need a UPR kit or any other kit.
i'm not really sure i need them also , but got a new rack , lowering springs , bushings , ect ...going in the front end ..just wanna make it right for when it goes to the alinement shop .
If you have lowering springs, and stock rack location (stock Kmember), you will need some sort of correction. (i.e offset rack or lowered tie-rod ends.)
