I installed a Powertrax Diff and a set of 4.30 gears on my stang a few months ago and had some problems with it. The install went smooth and followed all directions accordingly but when it broke loose it would only be the rear passenger tire. It would rarely break both tires loose, but when it did it would switch over to the right pretty quick. Regular driving was fine and my gears didnt howl or whine or anything, but when I gave it full throttle, the one tire would always just spin. I called powertrax and they told me it could be my carrier thats bad or a few thousandths off or some shit. I couldnt find anything wrong with it so far and all the powertrax shit is still mint. Anyone know anything about these or have any ideas? Im thinking about selling it on ebay and just getting an Eaton or some shit. Im also probably gonna go back to my 3.73s if anyone is interested in 4.30s.
