Sadly enough i gotta driv my car through the winter... With that being said i am torn as to what to do for tires. As it is mine are worn out and its time for new ones so.... I have narrowed it down to 2 options: 1) Buy 4 all season tires and drive em until i need new tires again. OR 2) buy 2 summer high performance tires for the front and put 2 snows on the rear, then in the spring/summer buy to new high performance summers and 2 new wheels for the rear. And if i go that route studded or studdless? What do you think? vote and if you can gimme a reason why if you dont mind. I am very torn as what to do and very interested in your reasoning.
i use to work at TFT beofre, and the thing with studded tires is the stubs only serve a purpose if it snows or icey conditions. i belive you can stud any tire. but the best thing is to pony up the money and get 4 all season tires. id recommend the BFG g/force KDWS's. KDWS stands for Killer dry/wet/snow if you happen to not know. lol IMP thats the best way to go.
1. studded tires are against the law in mass 2. why buy 4 all season tires if u wont like them during the summer??? 3. u only need 2 snows in the back buying 2 new 1s for the front are a waste
so i say buy 2 winter tires for the back cuz those are whats pushing u and thats were u need to connect to the ground take your 2 best tires and put them up front and save your $$ for the nice performance tires for the summer!!!!!
my winter tires are blizzack ws-50 245/45/r17 95q studless
just my opinion

Yes I have had Michelin Alpins, I think they're called, Goodyear something or other whatchamacallit's, and Bridgestone Blizzak's. The Blizzak's are far and away the best snow & ice tire. I shit you knot.
from another site in case u wanted another opinion lol

when my car was driven last year, had the BFG DR 315's and actually i did pretty well only cuz i drove like a grandmother go figure! but remember blizzaks havr almost the same soft compound as drags tires so on dry ground they wont last that long

actually if you knew anything... studded tires are not against the law.. you are aloud to run studded tires between the dates of November 1st through April 30th.
its the only toss up.. but i think im leaning towards blizzacks... ws-50 .. unless somehow someone changes my mind. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Blizzak+WS-50&vehicleSearch=true&partnum=445R7BZWS50&fromCompare1=yes&place=8
