My sugguestion would be save up more and use it as a nice down payment on a newer one... that way at least you'll have a warrenty and not a junk project thats gonna shit the bed... $1200 won't get you anything special...
pshhh...if u want a project...u can get a good project for 1200$, hell i payed 500$ for mine with a running 302, 3.73s and a t-5 full mac exhaust, bilsteins and some other doo-dads....now its almost ready for paint, and after the paint im into it for 2700$, and it shuld run low 13s maybe high 12;s if my shiftings on point and i get some slicks....plus, if it breaks....its cheap to fix...u can pretty much get all the parts right at the parts store or right here on the board! shit is so much cheaper for fox bodys..just my 2 cents...go fox body. ill keep my eye out for ya but for 1200$ ur not gonna find a turn key 5.0 fox that passes inspection.

my buddy has one for sale little more then 1200 but not a bad car needs some TLC but has alot of great parts on it ...real quick rundown on it ..93 cobra motor,tranny and computer ..disc rear end conversion ..cober rear bumper , stalker front and mach 1 hood ...interior is hurting a little but there ...runs and drives was parked last month needs a battery which is located in the back of the car ...let me know if interested 2500 clean title in hand
it was just moved the other day needed a jump but fired right up ...like i said car needs some minor work ...he bought it drove it around for a few weeks and lost his winter storage ...car also comes with 2 extra pony wheels one has a ding in it can be fixed ....
also he said if someone buys it he will have it towed within 100 miles for FREE
im not really interested in the motor or rims. what kind of work does it need?

the drivers door has a dent in it , then right behind the door has a dent in the qtr ....the interior needs some help ..carpet is dirty missing some misc pieaces here and there ...headliner is sagging a little ...pass seat is leather and has rips in it ....not sure if he would pull the motor i think he would rather sell as whole as he really doesnt have a place to take stuff off it ya know
I have a MINT 93 LX 4 cylinder. White car with black interior and NO rust whatsoever. Was asking $2000 but can goa bit lower. Car is a daily driver that gets SICK gas mileage!
