camshaft installation

when installing a after market camshaft, do the valves have to be timed again, or how is the proper way to install a cam? i've done alot of engine work on cars, mainly imports but never done a camshaft on a mustang. could use the best advice to do it. thx

if your just doin a b e f or trick flow stage one just slide it in youll be fine it will run if you wanna know how to go about installing a cam then many of us on here can walk you trough it step by step

he should still set the lash and degree the cam in. No point of just tossin it together
